About:

Rising from the sweaty underground, Terry Poison, Tel Aviv’s notorious electro-rock&roll crew have been performing together relentlessly and are now ready for their close-up.
Terry Poison, an Israeli band, based in Tel Aviv (and like proper rock stars occasionally Paris and Oslo) is quite possibly the coolest electro clash band to emerge this year. After recording theme songs for Israeli TV programmes, Terry Poison released their debut vinyl EP Buzz on the Bell in 2007 and have since gone on to perform at international events like Rock en Seine and Elektricity and were selected as Depeche Mode's support act for their first ever appearance in Israel earlier this year.

Group members Louise Kahn and Noka Netzer were formally known as the duo "Cherry Poison" but, after only one show they met Idan "Bruno" Grife who went on to become the band's composer or "pimp of the groove" as he describes himself on the band's Myspace page. After changing their name to "Terry Poison", and a few line-up changes, the group now consists of four female musicians, Bruno and Issar Tennebaum on drums.

Louise is Norwegian, the ‘Grande Dame’ of the group and lead singer who admits to, "working hard in front of her mirror inventing new dance moves.” Petite is the baby doll, who sings in "the international language du l'amour", and who enjoys throwing parties and writing love letters that she throws to her audience during shows. Anna plays the guitar: and is the band's resident ‘Goth-Girl’ and, serial heart breaker of the band. Gili is the, "actress on a synth guitar", the "whiskey and high heels" type.

Their second EP "Comme ci, Comme ca", was released in March 2009 and they promise their new album will follow soon.

Smack Snack is their latest video, recorded in March this year. Take a peek here:
